Gem Theatre

For a small theatre, it does an excellent job. I was worried I wouldn't be able to see "It 2" locally but they had a showing for 2 days. The theatre was packed, so I'm glad I'm not the only one that enjoyed it. My only real complaint is that it's getting colder and I would definitely appreciate being allowed inside to warm myself up before the movie starts. I know it's a small area, but it would definitely be appreciated.

The owners and staff are amazing. This place is beautiful and you can tell there is love when you walk through the doors.

its an older theater, but since the flood they had to install new stuff like seats. and the seats are much better then before. comfy seats, cheap tickets, cheap but good popcorn and drinks. possibly the best theater i've been to without draining all my money on just popcorn! XD

This is a "Gem" of a place. Comfortable seats, good prices, friendly staff. They did a great job in refurbishing after the floor. Oh, the movie was good too.

Best and only theatre in Grand Forks. Even without the exclusivity of being the only place in town, the Gem is special. It's in a beautiful older building with a newly renovated interior and the owners are absolutely incredible! The movies shown are fairly close to their release and the popcorn has REAL BUTTER. If you've got the opportunity treat yourself to a movie.
