We did the Night Tour with our group from school. Our guide was fantastic, he's been hosting tours for over 30 years. He managed to find all sorts of critters in the dark. At one point he lured a tarantula spider from it's den -- I'm not okay with almost any spider, it was hard to watch without freaking out. The experience was a lot of fun, the walk was more intriguing because it was at night. We saw a tiny frog, a scorpion, large grasshopper, large cricket, sleeping butterflies, armadillo, a few tarantulas, Daddy long legs, a few birds and more. Definitely worth going on the tour!

An amazing place for a night or day tour. Is a mistic place because you will help Saving 23.000 hectares.

We had a night hike in this forest. It was great experience. You get to see a very different jungle the the one during the day. Saw some animals, spiders, birds, frogs and other insects. Over all great experience. Def9 recommended.

Visited at night as a night tour. Not my favourite tour in Costa Rica as much wasn't seen. Torch lights were provided by the guide. Did get to see the famous tranchula. Most of the time wandering around in the dark. If you have mobility issues this is not the tour for you. But the entrance fee contributes to a good cause.
