Galería Yara

We were excited to have a gallery open up next to one of our favorite restaurants. we visited a couple of times and Roger was super helpful and knowledgeable about the work in the gallery. Ultimately, we were attracted to two pieces and between measuring and looking at photos of our space, determined they should work. Roger was very accommodating (in the event they did not work) but they were perfect! We love our new artwork and are happy to support a local gallery.

What a delightful gallery! Right next to Ballena Bistro, it’s a joy to peruse. Even more lovely than the art is the owner Roger. Kind, interesting and always happy to chat, he makes buying the art personal. I can’t recommend Galería Yara enough.

This is absolutely one ofy favorite places to visit every time we return to our home in Costa Rica. We make a point of stopping by, and almost always purchasing something, each time we visit. Super interesting local artists and a great collection of different art forms. See you soon Yara!!

Conveniently off the Costanera Sur highway and next to one of the most delicious restaurant in the Ballena NP area (Ballena Bistro), GALERIA YARA is a little gem filled with art treasures. The most difficult part was to make up my mind for a painting ... Roger was very patient and helpful in the process ! Can’t wait to hang it at home ! Highly recommended

From the road the blue building appears simple enough, once you walk in, the comfortable eco-jungle atmosphere charms you. The cuisine is clean, tasty and delightfully original. Try the cucumber mint smoothy! Vegan options. The service was on point. Also check out the attached art gallery.
