Tracopa are one of Costa Rica's better bus companies and they operate out of here. You can use the Passer (type in Passer Tracopa) into the Google/Apple play store and can download the app. With the app you can see the up-to-date bus times AND book/pay for your ticket to SJO. Cost is 5,900ish Colones one-way to SJO. The local bus down to Manuel Antonio also leaves from here - costs 345 colones and you can pretty much get off anywhere along the road down to the national park entrance.

Maita tracked the jacket I left in their bus 2 days earlier and I didn't have to speak a word in Spanish. Awesome.

This place lacks info in English. Passengers don't have a place to shield the Rain because Buses stop along the sidewalk where you can get wet and robbed.
