Our family stayed at Villa Mariana for a week in February of 2021. This place is unique and beautiful and we had an amazing experience. It is an incredible property. Do not hesitate to book Chef Christopher for the week. The food was phenomenal. We did a number of excursions all set up through the concierge. This is a great place for families with older kids or couples who want to get away from the big resort crowds. Costa Rica never disappoints. Pura vida!

Our stay at the Villa Mariana was absolutely amazing! We traveled with a group of 4 couples - there was plenty of room for us in the home and the casita. The view of the surrounding rainforest is breathtaking. We enjoyed our morning visitors - monkeys, sloths and iguanas. The house staff and concierge were wonderful - very friendly and helpful. Christopher, the private chef, is a must - he was amazing. His food was absolutely delicious and he was a lot of fun! I highly recommend staying at the Villa Mariana. Rocky and her staff were outstanding and very prompt in answering any questions we had. They went out of their way to help make this one of the most memorable vacations we've had. We will definitely come back to Costa Rica and stay here again.

Beautiful place located close to Quepos. 10 minutes to town or about 30 minute hike to the small Macha beach. The house itself is beautiful but with the climate it definitely starting to show its age. Some of the sliding doors don't operate properly and there are cracks and paint bubbling up in a few places. The staff is doing a great job maintaining the things but nature here seems to be winning the battle slowly. Additionally, we noticed some mold in a closet and kitchen drawers. A huge benefit to staying here is of course the wildlife that comes right to the doorstep. Squirrel monkeys, white faced Capuchin monkeys, sloth and scarlet macaws are just a few animals we have seen right from the poolside deck.
