Very nice castle and the surroundings full of natural treks. During the weekend, however, it is packed with people, kids, and dogs who come from Prague. And Mondays are holidays. It is very pretty with the less risk of getting lost. Going around the pond is nice.

The biggest disappointment during our trip to the Czech. The castle itself is nicely preserved and has an extensive collection, but the way you explore the castle is dramatic. You cannot visit the castle alone (like the Louvre), only in rounds of several dozen people, you crowd into small rooms and listen to what the guide says, because you do not even have half a meter of space to pass by. You also don't have time to see anything carefully, because you are immediately rushed by the guide to the next room. Not to mention that despite the prevailing Coronavirus, almost no one had a mask and crowding in small rooms was very dangerous. I give them one star for the castle itself, but if they don't change the way you see it, I highly NOT recommend it.

The castle and the garden are indeed beautiful. Unfortunately, they only have Czech tours nowadays. Our guide was able to speak English but refused to even say some words to us in English. In addition, some places in the park were still closed even though I was told on the phone that everything is open. Therefore, the visit was not a nice experience for us.

Personally I wasn't soo impressed by the castle, but the gardens next to it, with the peacocks, were really nice. And when all those roses bloom....the view should be spectacular! And the smell....those roses just smell wonderful! My kids were very happy to see so many and from so close, and were very excited about feeding the ducks from the water nearby. And the train was also a very nice touch to the place :).
