Replika Železné opony - Bučina

Replica of a real iron curtain, a very strong place. We visited it in a typical Šumava fog, which gave the place an even bigger atmosphere and reminded of the darkness of the past. Good access by bike during a bike trip.

Replica, but an interesting place. Contrast with an open bridge to Germany a few tens of meters away.

It is a replica in the place where the Iron Curtain actually passed. A very interesting place that points to the dark side of the previous regime. Due to the construction of the Iron Curtain, the village of Bučina had to disappear so that its dwellings would not cover people fleeing to the west. Very interesting !!!
