This will be one day when a complete reconstruction takes place here, a very beautiful and interesting place, which indicates the beginning of the work that is currently underway here. The interior is still untouched, as left by the Russian occupiers, but the bridge to the castle, the roof and the exterior facade show that it will definitely be worth a visit 👍🏻

Beautiful walk

The Starten castle Vartenberk, which means the guard mountain, basically means that the guard city of Stráž pod Ralskem over which it rises. RALSKO is the opposite basalt hill, which belonged to the Vartenberks and is named after the son of the family. The chateau is located in the greenery of trees and carriages used to drive through the beautiful linden alley to the chapel at the end of the alley. A beautiful walk among the deciduous trees with a clean air, where it is also located and can be truly seen GOD'S HROB. During the summer, cultural events take place in the courtyard of Vartenberk Castle. I attended the Beatles Revival band's performance with Karel Kahovec, who sang Petr Novak's songs I Will Walk On Tiptoes, Say, Tombstone, Star Shining and others. The Beatles also played beautiful and familiar, now evergrin songs. The courtyard was literally crowded with girls who stood on the chateau gallery. It was beautiful, and the pleasant tunes were still coming down the hill. It is nice and I recommend to visit the Guard under RALSKEM, there is enough beauty to see. And on bicycles along the cycling path it is possible to see the Ralsko Upland in all directions. TRY IT, even on weekends.
