Velké sluneční hodiny

The Krašov transmitter, rising to a height of 342 meters, casts a shadow up to a distance of several kilometers. Its mast has become the refinery of the largest sundials in the Czech Republic and probably the largest in the world. In the field along the road, the clock makers placed five three-meter Roman numerals 10 to 14. The most accurate clock shows the time during the equinox and is inoperable in cloudy weather. An information board awaits in the car park under the transmitter, where you can read more about this technical curiosity. The place is no Disneyland, but the clock and beautiful nature are definitely worth a visit.

Amazing idea, beautiful place, breathtaking views.

There was a lot of talk and writing about this place, so I thought I would go there to see it as well. It is a short walk from the village Bezvěrov towards the village Krašov. Along the way, large hour numbers can be seen in the field by the road. There is a parking lot with an information sign next to the transmitter. In conclusion, I would like to imagine this place a little differently here, but it is at least interesting.
