In 1827, the invention of the ruchada, which was born in the head of his cousin, saw the light of day in Václav Veverka's blacksmith workshop. peasant František Veverek. The blower at the time meant deeper plowing and with it higher yields from fields that needed to produce much more food due to the increase in population However, the invention was appropriated by J. Kainz, an official of the Choltic estate. The Squirrel Cousins did not receive recognition during their lifetime. In the second half of the 19th century, discussions about authorship revived. In 1870, for the first time, members of the economic association in Pardubice negotiated the construction of a monument to these two inventors. Their ideas came true 13 years later. Today, the birth house of the Squirrel cousins is converted into a museum. It shows the development of the pusher, the causes of its origin and you can see one of the two preserved specimens of the original pusher. The 18 m2 room is furnished in approximately the same style as in the first half of the 19th century.

A monument praising the nineteenth-century inventors of the revolutionary and forgotten rotary plow - Veverkovy cousin. Nicely made, undamaged and definitely worth a visit during a visit to Pardubice. I recommend especially to those who love agriculture and other people interested in agriculture. 5/5
