Socialist realism between the castle and the church by the sculptor Malejovský. An ugly sculptural group in an inappropriate place.

It is apparent how many untruths and appearances are rising to the defense of the Liberation Monument, which stands here as a direct ideological replacement for JV Stalin. Who had already realized the pedestal, on which was erected pioneer with the Red Army. His composition, adored even in direct connection with the church of st. Bartholomew (I personally saw churches shot from the Soviet Army, for example Prem. Monastery Teplá.) Or in connection with the castle / chateau of the highest Czech nobility, is a gross misunderstanding of the placement of works of art according to artistic / architectural principles. Indeed, to suppress the castle was an ideological intention. I respect the spreaders of this love for the war memorial, they can be wrong, but they simply should not lie. I am no longer fighting for its relocation, we lost this intention (odideologize space) to the intervention of the Russian embassy and many others. But that doesn't mean I won't explain the truth. The sculpture of the Liberation Monument by its location creates a beautiful entrance to the chateau park from the Cathedral of Sts. Bartholomew. It excels especially at night lighting.
