Ferrata Nové Hamry

Short ferratas for the whole family. The six-year-old daughter managed A, children according to age B and C, parents also D ;-)

It is nice that there are different routes with different levels of difficulty. The via ferrata is therefore ideal for testing and practicing. However, the individual routes are pretty short. You hardly need more than 15 minutes for a variant. And the journey is long, even when starting in Northern Bavaria ...

Very small and short via ferrata, but recommended for training, children and as a short stopover, there are several routes in different difficulties. Definitely too short / small for a whole day trip. There is almost no boarding which is very pleasant.

Once you've found it, this route is great! It is located at the rear of the Seifert hotel. You have to walk past the hotel, cross the bridge over the river, walk past the "camp" towards the campsite and then the route starts against a stone in the woods. We had equipment with us, it was not immediately clear to me whether you could possibly rent it at the hotel or whether you really had to bring it yourself.
