Pilníkov

Pilníkov railway station is located in the northwestern part of the town of the same name. The station was opened in December 1870 by the Austrian Northwestern Railway (ÖNWB). The route was the result of efforts to connect the ÖNWB railway network in a north-easterly direction to the border with Prussia. There are two uncovered one-sided platforms (tracks used for passenger check-in), and crossings over the tracks are used for access.

The Pilníkov railway station is located on line no. 040 Chlumec n. C. - Trutnov hl.n. Near Pilník are the Giant Mountains, near Montenegro 1299 m.n.m. where there is also a newly built lookout tower Trail through the treetops in the length of 1511 m. The observation tower is 45 m high. For those interested, a 50 m long water slide leads from the lookout tower. About an hour by train is the Rock Town of Adršpach Rocks.
