Nové Město nad Metují

When getting off the train at this station, if it weren't for a few visible achievements of modern times, you would feel both in the times of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The station from 1875 has been sensitively renovated, it is clean everywhere and there is also a station restaurant. Just great.

Regular operation started here on 25 July 1875. The newly built railway station in Nové Město was established as a III station. class, according to a standardized design model designed by architect Wilhelm von Flattich. It lies on the monorail unelectrified line No. 026. The city bus station is located approximately 500 meters to the east.

Beautifully repaired building, good railway pub. I add another star when there are dorms. I think the reconstruction of the platform will be a very nice place.

Beautiful and well-kept little train station. You can feel the Czech atmosphere here. It is clean and quiet, the toilets are working, there is a small restaurant.
