I don't like the main railway station in Ostrava the most, so I prefer to get off from Svinovský. I believe that the location of the station is not exactly the most strategic, but it should be noted that there are regular flights to Ostrava - Central, which is already the station in the center. Public transport to the station has improved a lot recently, trams and trolleybuses run regularly here, buses rather only long-distance lines, but as far as trolleybuses and trams are concerned, they run almost all over Ostrava. At the station, however, I do not like the cleanliness and also the fact that it is located or, better said, wedged into the PZ. However, the waiting building with various shops is nice. There is a paid toilet, information center, and a few buffets. For me, however, this does not change the fact that I prefer to board the Svinov railway station.

A very interesting station, if you turn on the imagination a bit, you can imagine that it failed in time in the 90s. Outside the station, there are a lot of gypsies walking in the literal sense of the word, the station itself was reconstructed, well, if a quarter of the rest, so to speak, is in progress. I definitely recommend visiting, as the city itself - there are a lot of interesting things there.
