Pet Center

I have been buying all pet supplies at Pet Center for years. Today they lost my business. Here is what happened: I went to buy a large bag of cat food, but unfortunately Pet Center did not have any of the needed size. So, as not to run out of the food at home, I bought the small bag. The following morning, I remembered there is a possibility to order from the Pet Center online store, so I ordered what I needed from the online store and it was delivered quickly. Actually it was delivered so quickly that I did not need to open the small bag of food. Since it was purchased very recently, unopened, and I had the receipt, I went to return the small bag of food since we received exactly what was needed with the large bag. We were told by the staff that even with the receipt and it is unopened that it is "impossible" to return this, even if we replaced the order with a larger and more expensive online order, and that "we shouldn't have bought anything" at the store if the Pet Center store did not have on stock the size, brand, or quantity we were looking for. I could not believe what I was hearing. So the pet supplies store is suggesting we take the chance to run out of food and not feed our pets instead of being reasonable and caring? We explained once again and ask how it could be impossible. To be told that "we shouldn't have bought anything" is simply ridiculous. So we will take our business elsewhere and suggest others to do the same. This is not how to treat customers, especially loyal customers. If I have to go out of my way or even pay more money in the future at a different store, I will do so just to avoid giving one more crown to this business. Maybe their competitor, Super Zoo, in the same vicinity as OC Letnany is a place to go for pet supplies instead.
