Royal Rent a Car

The owner (Alex) is a great guy to deal with and I always deal with him. I have been using Royal off and on since 2008 for renting cars when needed. If you need a driver please note that their drivers usually speak little to no English. Do not be confused with the other Royal rent car company that is scamming people and using their name.

After making a reservation and getting a confirmation email I was asked to call the office. None of the phone numbers was active and I didn't get any response by e-mail either.

Booked a car for just One Day. Got it delivered and picked up again at the hotel without any extra charge. Fast, easy and trustworthy.

The staff was very friendly, we booked a car very last minute (about 30 minutes in advance, we decided to take a day trip), but everything was ready for us when we arrived. The staff spoke little English, but it was not a problem at all, they arranged everything and sent us on our way quickly. The rental price is very reasonable and the location is convenient to the historic center and the train station. Note: almost all the street parking in the center of Prague is reserved for residents, so be prepared to park in a garage. There is a parking garage across the street and down a few buildings which is 30-50 koronas (about 1.10-1.80 euros) per hour and is accessible 24 hours a day. This is about half what you pay in mall parking.

We got a driver and went to Munich with co-workers. Driver was surprisingly fun to be with. I would recommend to anyone visiting Prague. 10/10
