Definitely do the tour. Our guide, Karoline was great. Funny and insightful. Wonderful history, glass elevators, one of them round, and a spectacular view.

The Old Town Hall is stunning from everywhere you can look. The art on the ceiling is unique and breathtaking. The view of the city from the tower is the best view in all directions. I loved the futuristic looking elevator to the top. This is the best spot for taking pictures and appreciating the entire city.

View from the tower is amazing. Golden hour (end of the afternoon) is the best time to climb up. Would've been nice if they'd mentioned that the Town Hall Chambers were closed before we forked out 250kr each for the Town Hall Pass, we didn't really plan on going for two days but now we have to in order to see what we paid for.
