Reception rather cold but correct. Lack of pedagogy. We did not have all the documents necessary for our request to transcribe a birth certificate. The list of documents specified on the embassy website is not an exhaustive list. I really did not appreciate the condescending remark made by one of the French employees of the embassy to my Czech spouse: "You know that Czechoslovakia no longer exists".
