The Roman Catholic chapel of St. John of Nepomuk at the intersection of U Matěje and Starého streets is the only surviving of twelve early Baroque chapels from the second half of the 17th century, which lined the pilgrimage route from Růžek (today's Vítězné náměstí) to the church of St. Matěj. The chapel was significantly modified in 1876. At the end of the 1990s, the façade was reconstructed to its current form without the knowledge of the monuments, during which the classicist stucco decor was removed. The gilded wooden statue of Jan Nepomucký from the end of the 18th century, which stood in a niche, is now stored in the opposite building of the rectory.
