Velká Louka

You will find a large meadow in the middle of the Šárka - Lysolaje natural forest park, in places below Soborská Street. It has been used since time immemorial for winter sports, family picnics, or as a seating area for locals with beautiful views. In the meadow stands a memorial chapel, built in 1865 and dedicated to St. Wenceslas - getting some relevant information about her was not easy. This whole part of Prague seems to be forgotten, but that is what gives it real charm. In the past, a well flowing into the Šárka Valley also springed on the slopes, but today the spring has already disappeared under clay deposits.
