Busy railway station, the routes of several PID lines intersect here. The building is repaired, but the facilities for passengers are rather below average.

Hostivické nádraží is a railway junction on lines 120 (Prague – Rakovník), 121 (Hostivice – Podlešín) and 122 (Prague-Smíchov - Hostivice - Rudná u Prahy). The station was built in 1862 on the route of the original Lány horse-drawn railway (building No. 90). After the construction of the branch of the Buštěhrad railway to Prague-Smíchov (in operation since March 3, 1872), the railway station was given a new look (building No. 93 and other buildings). At the turn of 2010/2011, the station building of the Hostivice station underwent several months of reconstruction. Inside the station is a pleasant waiting room, toilet, ticket machines, in the waiting room of the screen with the arrival and departure of trains, intelligible reporting of the railway station. In winter, the waiting room is warm and there is no stinking homeless.
