Bořanovice is first mentioned in a documentary falsa dated to 1227, when the Czech King Přemysl Otakar I left it to the convent of St. George in Prague at Hradčany. The village is associated with a formerly independent village, today the village of Pakoměřice. The village of Bořanovice has been the seat of a joint self-government since 1922. In 2019 there were less than 800 inhabitants. Bořanovice was first mentioned in a documentary falsa dated to 1227, when the Czech King Přemysl Otakar I gave it to the convent of St. John. The village of Bořanovice has been the seat of joint self-government since 1922. Less than 800 inhabitants lived there in 2019.
