Rejd Štvanice

Description of purpose To provide sufficient capacity and technically suitable waiting stand for vessels in the lower and upper lock of the Štvanice lock, as lock locks are not currently equipped with any corresponding waiting stand, which would be in accordance with the parameters of the waterway. The main change will therefore be the construction of separate waiting stands for small and large vessels in the lower and upper lock of the lock. Štvanice lock chambers are one of the busiest lock chambers in the Czech Republic. There are both small vessels and large cruise ships, cabin boats and potentially cargo vessels. It is this mixed operation that requires great attention of boatmasters, especially while waiting for a swim. The absence of waiting places disproportionately increases the risk of a shipping accident. The current situation contradicts Act No. 114/1995 Coll., On Inland Navigation, as amended, and its implementing regulation - Decree of the Ministry of Transport No. 222/1995 Coll., On waterways, navigation in ports, common accident and dangerous goods , as amended.
