Pomník bratří Čapků

An unusual monument that the raw quarry stone. The names of the brothers are indeed fired by bullets, since both were inconvenient to both the Nazi and Communist regimes. Their work extends beyond its time, is still topical, although most well known is probably their synthetic word "robot", one of the most used words of modern technology.

The memorial stands in the place where the brothers lived, in today's Čapkova street they had dwellings and worked in the Vinohrady Theater.
