Great place! Fantastic local related exhibitions.

Unexpectedly nice. Exhibitions about local jewish communtiy (history only, somehow), about the village, some art and really nice space with restored chapels. Some cultural programme also.

The building is nicely repaired, after 20 years of effort

Beautifully restored building with a sense of history and ancestors. It is a pity that there are no more religious and cultural events. Low publicity and public awareness. I would welcome prayer meetings across the faith. Just thank God for everything.

The community of local enthusiasts made more than 20 efforts, which were completed by the reconstruction of the Synagogue in Čkyně. An interesting 20-minute documentary about the synagogue is screened. It is advisable to see the document at the beginning of the tour to understand later information. The building has ambitions to serve as a cultural center of the village while preserving Jewish elements. I recommend the visit.
