Tylův domek

It was in this house that Josef Kajetán Tyl spent his second (and last) stay in Trebon with his nine-member family in the winter of 1856. Imagine that the building is only 20 m² in size. Moreover, he was seriously ill by then. If you want to know more, be sure to take a tour of the J. K. Tyl Theater or a special costume tour of the Phantom Theater, where everything is beautifully staged. Note for tree lovers: Right next to the house you will find a memorable hawthorn. ;-)

His time in this house has long since passed, but stands and continues to serve.

The garden at Tyl's house is very well maintained. At the information center, we picked up a leaflet describing the plants and everything really agreed. Hydrangeas, diaries, goodwill, elm, echinacea, sage, hydrangea, dragon, climbing rose, quality were ok, only sunflower and daisy did not bloom.
