Hluboká nad Vltavou

Infrequent service and no departure/arrival boards. However, there was plenty of shelter and seating while waiting for the train.

Thanks to the reviews we have chosen a bus connection to travel to Hluboká. The train station is really far from the chateau or the center of Hluboká and it can be used for arrival or departure only if you visit the local zoo, which lies half way. The station is serviced, but you will not find any services besides selling tickets, as well as a refreshing vending machine or drinking water.

The railway station is located on line 190 (Plzeň - Horažďovice suburb - České Budějovice and back). If you are planning a trip from No. B to the Hluboká Chateau, it is better to choose a bus line (Pod kostelem stop), especially in the case of families with children. The railway station is a little out of hand, and the terrain is somewhat more demanding (if you choose the path between the ponds Velký Zvolenov and Munický). It's a bit from the hand to the castle, it's about four kilometers. Quite interestingly watching tourists with suitcases pull to Hluboká.
