The monument in the shape of 12.4 m high obelisk is dedicated to the memory of Rieger and is set in a beautiful park full of sculptures. In 1903, an exhibition of Czech northeast, where the team took monolith stonemasons from Podhorního Újezda. In the same year he died this famous politician and therefore it was decided to pay him the obelisk. The revelation took place in September 1907. The monument dominates the outdoor sculpture gallery.
