RUINS OF ZBIROHY CASTLE After the Hussite wars, paws settled in the castle. At the head of the robbers was a nobleman who surpassed all in strength and cleverness as well as cruelty. They called him the Black Knight for their dark armor. But once it happened to him. The lords in the area called for regional cash and surrounded and recharged Zbirohy. They caught the paws and hung them. The Black Knight was the last to try to abseil from the walls and disappear into the rocks. However, he was overwhelmed and beheaded as a nobleman. However, his soul is still calm. It appears in the castle in the form of a kind of cloud.

Great trip! The ruins are freely accessible from Besedice and from the village of Zbirohy. Now in winter and autumn, the road to the reservoir was completely wet, but you can walk higher up the hill. It is definitely a trip even for smaller children, they can handle it with maximum help. There is no need for a headlamp when entering the "cellar". Making a campfire here would certainly be romantic but it's forbidden!
