The Skuteč railway station on line 261 (Svitavy - Žďárec u Skutče), until the 1960s under the name Skuteč - město and the Žďárec u Skutče end railway station was named Skuteč. The regional railway connects the railway lines 260 (Česká Třebová - Brno) and 238 (Pardubice - Havlíčkův Brod). At present, with low traffic, but previously with heavy freight traffic, mainly aggregates extracted in two real quarries were transported. Humperky was connected by a siding directly to the railway yard of the Litice station, where a siding about 2 km long led. Also wood material from Čachnov and other stations was transported. It is also an important route for tourists to the Žďár Hills (St. Čachnov, Borová u Poličky, Polička). CZ200203
