Synagoga ve Slaném

By 2020, the prayer hall has been divided into two floors and further divided by partitions into individual rooms. From the original decoration of the prayer hall in 2020, the original blue-painted vaulted ceiling with plastic stars has not been preserved. According to the Czech Parliament, the synagogue ceiling until 2020 is only solid blue.

The synagogue is beautiful. It looks like it is a settlement of the Parliament. At least there are Mojzis plaques on the facade. Accessible normally from the street. We didn't go inside.

The synagogue was built in 1865 and served its purpose until World War II. war. After the war, it served various purposes and is now used by the Czech police, like the adjacent building of the former Jewish school. Since 1958 the synagogue has been registered as a cultural monument. It is not publicly accessible.
