Beautiful walls, lots of greenery, revitalized housing estate, sports center Tyršák, quiet clean town.

Quite well-preserved railway station, from which you still feel the feeling of the former boom of the railways from the turn of the 18th and 19th century. The station was opened on 26 August 1883 on a branch line (owned by the Austrian State Railway Company) by extending the section from Poříčany and Sadská, opened two years earlier. The railway connecting the station with the older station of Nymburk main station was completed in 1896. The line thus connected the Nymburk railway junction operated by the Austrian Northwest Railway with the Elbe railway from 1845 from Prague to Olomouc. The Nymburk Town Station is an older, but repaired station with staff, ticket sales, timetables posted, WC, snacks from the slot machine. Covered sitting outside under the roof and in the waiting room. Pretty.

The station is small and from here you can connect to Nymburk hl.n., Poříčany and Veleliby. Tickets can be purchased at the station and there is a coffee machine. Unfortunately, it is not possible to walk to the platform from the box office. Station radio is reported by humans. Although the track is fully electrified, 90% of motorbikes run here.

Nice station. It is a pity for many years of closed railway stations
