just 30 min away from the central city, Prague.. what a lovely station ever, I saw recently. I felt I was at the movie scene of 1980's.. quiet, not crowded at all, nostalgic. The gate toward the castle.

Station building was recently reconstructed, there is staffed desk but you can also buy tickets online, via app or on the train. I would appreciate a restaurant in the station building with view of the tracks :) The tracks are over 50 years old and without proper maintenance, so there are quite often malfunctions and train delays. Usually however the ride to Prague is fast (34 minutes) and comfortable (double decker air-conditioned trains every 15-30 minutes).

Simple station. Friendly staff though they don’t speak English. But simple gesticulations resolved my queries. Station is currently undergoing renovations. Hope by it’s completion it would be more charming.

Clearly marked and had a nice bench for waiting. There is a passage way under the tracks to change platforms. The passage is clean. There is also a w.c.

Must see.
