The Würzburg low-UHF radar was the primary ground-based cannon radar for the Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht during World War II. The initial development took place before the war and the radar entered service in 1940. Eventually, more than 4,000 Würzburgs of various models were produced. It got its name from the city of Würzburg. It was operated by 6 people, weighed approximately 15 tons, had a transmission power of 8 kW, reach up to 70 km and operated on the frequency of 565 MHz. The building is fenced in the museum, but accessible in its immediate vicinity. It is located close to the entrance and thanks to its dimensions it is practically impossible to overlook.
