The Krupský aqueduct dates back to the construction of the Duchcov-Podmokelské track from 1871 and is the only preserved monument from the extensive technical system of water canals and reservoirs, bringing water from Cínovec to Krupské mlýny and iron mills. In Krupka, this canal ended in a water reservoir above the former Preiss Mill called the Wastewater Pond, from where the water passed through the Preiss Mill, Aspen Mill and Upper Mill to this aqueduct, which transferred the water through the then Duchcov-Podmokel Railway to other mills. mills and smelters, up to Modlan. Unfortunately, today the aqueduct is not maintained and poorly accessible. Yet it can be reached either through the overgrown area from the connecting aisle between Teplická and Sídliště streets, or better after the railroad that is no longer working today, right under the aqueduct itself and climb straight up to it.

Tip for a trip. Canceled track, you can walk from Dubí to Krupka, we did not go, so I do not know, from Dubí to the flooded shaft Barbora can also walk, but it is already very overgrown and the road is not nice, must go off the track. And the start at Dubský Train Station is adrenaline. The station is inhabited I do not know who and on the way away lives a lot of interesting people where there is no shortage of leaky fences and barking dogs behind them.
