The snake source is the last publicly available Karlovy Vary mineral spring. In the south-western pavilion of the Garden Colonnade, it was removed in 2001 during the reconstruction of the colonnade. The snake source flows from the head of the snake on a column decorated with a vase with handles made of snakes. The name was given to the source of the snake, which was often followed by the colonnades. The snake source contains fewer minerals than other sources, but more carbon dioxide. Since the opening, it has gained great popularity among the guests of the resort city.
