The chateau in Pravonín is a sad example of disagreement between private individuals and authorities. At first, the tens of millions were bought by a group of Italian investors, but they did not care about the property and she fell into disrepair and the Czech authorities were short on the foreign owner. Then the chateau was acquired by a Czech merchant and began to be repaired. But conservationists did not like the method of repairs, the owner eventually took the power. Then the chateau wanted to buy a private brewery and build a rest complex here, but the chateau no longer has any other properties. The chateau grounds are owned by an agricultural cooperative. The brewery offered compensation to the cooperative for the purchase of the premises, but this was not sufficient for the cooperative. And so the property is offered further (year 2019) for the price of about 2 million CZK. But buying it means a great burden. And so unfortunately we will see a sad end, the loss of this monument with which the legend of Princess Pravona may disappear.

The castle is in very bad condition, perhaps it should have a new owner. The limit for repair will be conservationists. But it flows on both sides of the main entrance and the supporting structure is not enough.
