Liechtenstein Palace

Visited there on an 'open day'. For English speakers they provide a booklet with all the details about the place. Beautiful palace.

My wife and I did a guided tour of the Liechtenstein Palace on 25 July 2020. A building that we have often walked passed and didn't think anything about. The outside doesn't show any signs of being a palace and there is no signage to say that. Walk in the door and it is spectacular. It has been restored due to age and also as a result of flooding in 2002. It is still used for state and private functions. It has hosted VIPs such as Spanish King Juan Carlos with his wife Sofie, British Queen Elizabeth II, and the Japanese emperor Akihito with empress Michiko. The guided tour takes about 30 minutes. We recommend visiting the Liechtenstein Palace next to the Kampa Park.

An owned by the Czech government building, renovated and well maintained, next to the river bank, with nice views to the Old town. Accessible for specific events, not sure if for the general public. A problem if you have difficulties in moving up and down by stairs as elevators are quite hidden

Very nice and cozy place with a great views to St. Charles Bridge and Old City.

We came on open door days so we had a tour that only showed dinning room after dining room. None of the art was displayed or we were not allowed to visit the art. We did get to see a video of some of the art. It was honestly a waste of time. Maybe if we could have seen something it would be better. But a waste.
