Pension Venus

Respond to the owner - I had booked this room via booking.com because it was the only one available. I do not inderstand what do you mean that I can use central air condition. In the room there was nithing even simple ventilator for 5 EUR. There was 35 degrees Celsius in this room. Walls, ceilings from late eightees.Lot of flies - for me this was total disaster so I decided to leave. It is not my level. This is my right to deal with my opinion. I said that I must leave because I wanted to be polite not rude. Just for your info I received room in my favourite hotel for half price with air condition and balcony. Think if your prices are reasonable. For me not. You was right this was my first, but short and definitely LAST visit. But wish you all the best in your business. Regards

The staff was friendly and helpful. The place itself was very basic. For one night stop max. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good for such a place, especially with a complimentary coffee from a coffee machine. Thanks for a free bottle water in the room. The only thing was the prize. Twice too expensive. Not worth 115€/room. The standard was matching rather 50-60€. If you get such a price stay otherwise go to Austria.

Decent budget hostel 5 min walk from the center. Very nice and helpful service. Good breakfast. Overall great experience. Also good for larger group of friends.

Great service, very pleasant, tasty breakfast and very close to the old town

Room quite old, small without air condition which you will really miss in the summer's hot temperatures however clean. Breakfast menu is very good, you will find anything based on your taste. The reason why positive feedback cannot be given is pension owner's approach. He was very unpleasant, nervous and grumpy (on the other hand, other staff was pretty kind). If you consider visit picturesque town Mikulov with your pet, I strongly suggest to you erase this pension as an option. In spite of we assured ourselves prior our visit that it is dog-friendly place, he was nervous and unpleasant from the very beginning since we came. Mikulov is definitely worth to visit, just pick the better accommodation up as we did!
