Memorial of the Iron Curtain at Čížov

Nice to visit it but it is rather small and therefore not as overwhelming as I thought it would be. If you are in the neighborhood go and check it out but don't make a big detour for it. Would be great if the Czech government would make it a bigger site and dress it up more so it gives more of a feeling of how it was

Want to get the visceral impact of the Iron Curtain? Come to Cizov, and walk along a remaining stretch. Then, walk down the trail to the Austrian border. The experience is worth it.

During a bike rode from Znojmo to Vranov I stumbled across this remnant of the Iron Curtain. Quite incredible to see!
