Symbolic cross of reconciliation of the Poland, Germany and Czech Republic.

The Cross of Reconciliation can be found on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland, where the Polish Glówny Szlak Sudecki (the main Sudeten trail) joins the hiking trail from Peter's Buds to the Bishop's Hill. Previously, there was a border between Czechoslovakia and Germany (Austria, Hungary and Prussia). Therefore, the symbolism of the place refers to the reconciliation of all three nations. The cross was built by Alois Rudolf, the owner of the nearby Rudolf's cottage (Rudolfsheim), in 1925 as a thank you for good business.

A symbolic place, a beautiful quote from John Paul II. There is a bench you can sit down and relax. A few minutes further there is the highest peak of the Opawskie mountain, Biskupia Kopa. Then the red Main Sudetes Trail runs.

Attraction on the trail, unfortunately there are no good views or comfortable seating places.
