The train station was built in 1899, and since Austria-Hungary disintegrated, no one has touched the station.
My evaluation is probably not entirely objective, but when I was younger, I spent almost every weekend in Holice (especially at this station). The station has its own charm and if it was completely dug up, it would never have the same atmosphere again. Of course, at least it could calm down there :)
The catastrophic building of ticket issuance on the train ..... people that waiting room is horrible and those trains without comment like almost every train has a name but as horror 👎
The railway station in Holice is a disgrace to Czech Railways, now rather RIA. I try in vain to recall another station that would be in the same miserable condition or worse. If a contest for the ugliest station in the country was announced, the station would be a hot candidate. The building is dilapidated, with access roads in a dilapidated state. Waiting room does not exist. You can leave only in the direction of Moravany, the connections to Borohrádek are canceled. Whoever travels elsewhere than in the direction of Prague will sit in the train for half a day.
I originally wanted to give only one star, but I found one positive. You can park here for free at any time of the day. Although the car park is more storage than a car parking area, it is also counted. This station will probably never be amazing and beautiful, but a little more than a condition for passengers, it would certainly be possible.
Dilapidated, shabby station, where time stands still ...
