A guided tour is currently being offered. You learn something about the history of BW and take a lap on the turntable. The workshop and the shed itself can also be seen. You learn a lot about the vehicles.
There are snacks to eat and drink in the beer garden.
Nice excursion during Corona times and a good opportunity to support the association.
There is a large number of pretty rail buses, a cute trolley and a time-honored steam locomotive. The workshops in the roundhouse can also be visited. The tour was informative and engaging and was crowned by a trip on one of the last functioning hubs in Germany. And - last but not least - the homemade cake is sensational!
Very nice terrain and nice guide
Unfortunately no beer garden today.
Once upon a time there was a nice, rustic place to listen to music in the evening after working on the tracks and trains. Unfortunately, this is past.
