THE SECRET OF THE ROOF CHAMBER is a crime scene, which is located in the attic of the detective house. A crime case from 1978 can be solved with the help of a deceptively real-looking criminal file. The file / the crime game is bought with Block & Kuli in the bookstore on the ground floor before the start of the game and on the top floor you can then look at the "crime scene" (incidentally without playing) and can then determine on your own. The file contains detailed background information on the witnesses / suspects. Evidence is framed on the walls or the contents of the desk and wastebasket are explained. An old television plays videos with witness surveys that you can watch as often as you like. Audios are also available via headphones. All of the furniture and the interior dates back to the 1970s. The level of detail and the complexity with which the scenes and protagonists of the case were endowed are astonishing. 1000 details have to be perceived and classified according to importance or unimportance. Unlike in an escape room, you can always leave the scene for a briefing in the Cafe Sherlock below. When planning, you should plan at least 1 hour (crime novice more). We were two of us and had a lot of fun for € 26.00 (additional players pay extra). That may sound really expensive at first, if you only consider the pure game material. But the richly embellished history with all its facets and background information justifies the price. Nothing for: "I'm going to do this while walking past". Real thriller fans with a sense of humor (even the music scene is amusing), who have a soft spot for many small border stories, can enjoy old school and marple feeling here as hobby investigators. We learned how difficult it must be for real crime officers to separate relevant information from irrelevant information. The game is quite tricky due to its complexity (bring time & rest), but in the end we had actually logically identified the person whose (locked) confession is in the file and who, after combining the relevant information, could only be the culprit. You have to be able to get involved in the game and its initially confusing hints and wrong tracks in the variety, you need some leisure, humor and fun in combining. Lovingly detailed, solvable and with great fun factor! (Note: Since my cell phone photos were unfortunately out of focus due to the light conditions - only the first was accepted by Maps - I asked the organizer for a few additional photos. On my next visit, I will take a "real" camera and these photos then adjust)
