First of all, it should be mentioned that these railway tracks (1 + 2) are only for the S1 (direction Dortmund Hauptbahnhof and direction Solingen Bahnhof). The small tracks have a good connection to the ÖVN (public transport network) by the bus lines 164 (Hörsterfeld → Steele S) and 184 (Freisenbruch → Steele S). Both train tracks are equipped with a station clock and an analog clock with delay and failure indication. Also, small "wind" and rain sheltered shelters are on the tracks. Unfortunately, the tracks are often decorated with broken pieces or vomit, which is fixed about twice a week. The station could still be renovated and then cleaned more often, which would make the tracks more attractive ...

To pay for the ride to Düsseldorf Airport, I had to miss one train, and they walk every 20 min. the machine was hanging up and slowly processing the information. Min 10 bought 3 tickets.

Beware of frost! The white stones on the platform are soaking wet! S-Bahn stop ... What to say ... Two entrances per platform. One ticket machine per platform. One bus shelter per platform. S1 direction Dortmund and direction Solingen Bus 174, 164 and 184 stop nearby.
