The Museum am Ostwall now houses the Baukunstarchiv NRW. There are exhibitions on architecture, urban planning, etc. instead. You can also do research there or take part in guided tours with the master student architecture of the Dortmund University. Last but not least, the building of the museum has a long history and would have been almost demolished had it not been the sponsorship association that made the archives of the archives possible.
