Update January 2019: last month, we did Get Away's new room, which is Game of Thrones themed. We were 4 fairly experienced players, and the room was a real challenge!! The puzzles are top notch: they make you think, and it takes a while to put it all together. The room is entirely automated, there are no padlocks. I really liked how GoT elements are incorporated into the flow, some things are super creative!! (no spoilers, but do look up when in the corner by the Martell spears ;)). We needed almost an hour to finish the room, so it was definitely a fulfilling experience. Would recommend it for enthusiasts and GoT fans ;)!! Getaway is a very new Escape Room company in Munich - they opened their first room called "Taphephobia" (the fear of getting buried alive) in September, and are planning to open several more (including a Game of Thrones themed one!) in the upcoming weeks. However, the Getaway team has ample prior experience with Escape Rooms, and it shows. There are none of the lock-and-key or lock-and-code scenarios of the first gen Escape Rooms, this one is fully automated ;). I don't want to go into the detail of anything to avoid spoilers, but there is definitely a "wow" effect while you are doing this room. It is more atmosphere-driven than it is puzzle-driven. Some of the other reviewers on trip advisor and whatnot mention that this game is very physically intense to the point that I think reading these reviews might scare off people that would enjoy it (it almost scared me off...). This game is maybe a bit more physically intense than the average modern Escape Room, but it is by no means only for adrenaline junkies. Personally, I hate horror movies or any sort of jump scares, but I thoroughly enjoyed this room. The only cases where you might reconsider going would be if you are a) claustrophobic or b) asthmatic. The hosts were very friendly, my only complaint there is that there were maybe a bit too many hints on how to proceed without being prompted. This is probably subjective though. Regarding the language: we all spoke German to varying degrees, so we did the intro and the room in German, but the hosts did offer to switch to English, so I imagine this is not very problematic. You can only do this room with 2 or 4 people, but I think 2 is actually recommended. tl;dr: cool escape room with the use of modern tech, a bit different than the average escape room, but nothing too crazy, recommended for everyone, particularly couples/duos of friends.

Was treated unfairly! As a student, I participated a little and unfortunately didn't get any payment. At the beginning I was promised a lot by the manager, but in the end he is no longer available. Personal contact is no longer possible. This is what the construction site looks like (see photo in the attachment) AMOUNTED TO!

Were in Taphephobia ... Already done several escape rooms across Germany and I have to say, this room offered such unique and ingenious experiences that I actually feel compelled to write this review. We recommend!!
