Nice Japanese cake shop with delicious cakes and dessert. Very good Matcha desserts.
Light texture, fluffy pastry, thick fresh cream (nama cream) laced with matcha, vanilla, sweet red bean, chestnut...in my view, the Japanese have embraced the art of French patisserie and even transcend the French because of its less sweetness
Tanpopo is just a perfect example of such! Literally, everything they offer is delicious!!
Matcha Melonpan and Maronen tarte are seriously good...
For me, anything comes with matcha and fresh cream will put a huge smile on my face...
Tanpopo is the best patisserie/bakery I have found in my entire 5-month stay in Munich. I count myself lucky that they were on my walk to work so I've been able to enjoy their offerings frequently :)
Highlights: spinach quiche and azuki bean/hazelnut creme breads.
Cosy place and the pastries are delicious!
Had mango cheesecake, it was soft and creamy, not too sweat, just perfect :)
