An important milestone of Munich museums is this place, where they are both historically and artistically trying to deal with the city's brown history.
Best if you book a guide, but even if you just have an hour, it is doable also independently.
Besides the documentary main part they integrated modern to contemporary art works which deal with similar political issues, or related themes in a broader sense.
Really interesting. Takes time to digest all the information. I spent over 1 hour per floor, but you can check the photos and have a general overview, which would make the visit faster.
Such a nice archive. I was greatly amazed. Just grab an audio guide and a chair and enjoy a trip over historical documents. Free of charge, what else could you wish?
A really rich collection of information. Everything is in English and German. Free entrance. Recommend to book a guided tour to get the most out of it an not be overwhelmed by information.
This is an excellent museum which is really good for English speakers, it's free to get in, you start on the top floor and work down, it shows the history of the Nazis from.the early 1930s to after the war.
It's a must visit in Munich, I would give this 2-3 hours for your visit, especially if you get the audio guide
